I just submitted my application, how long will it take for me to be registered?
Once we receive an application, it takes approximately 6-8 weeks for processing, barring any complications. One way to make the process go a little faster is to be sure to send us all of your information, so that we do not have to send your application back to you.
I just became a member, where can I go to start visiting?
If you call up your local hospitals and ask to speak to their volunteer services, many times they will want to have a therapy dog program at their establishment. You can also join a local chapter, and they will help you find places to volunteer.
Can I e-mail the photo of my dog to you?
Unfortunately, at this point in time we are not accepting e-mail attachments. Please send us a hard copy of the photo.
What are your membership and renewal fees?
For your first dog, it's $30 to join, and $25 a year to renew. For every dog after that, it is only $5 to join, and $5 a year to renew.
I misplaced my dog's ID card and/or tags, how can I get a replacement?
Please send us $5 for each ID card that you need, and $4 for each dog tag that you need along with a letter explaining what happened.
