Hurricane Katrina - Therapy Dogs and Handlers Need Your Help!
 

TDI currently has at least 34 Associate Members located in areas directly affected by Hurricane Katrina.  Media reports show that most people in these areas have lost everything and continue to endure very difficult conditions.  We have been able to contact a few of our members in the area, but many are still unreachable.

We are compiling a list of Associate Members who are willing to foster a Therapy Dog or offer other assistance if the need arises.  Please contact the TDI Office to be added to the list.  We can be reached at (973) 252-9800 or via email tdi@gti.net.

Donations are welcome and will go to TDI Members directly affected by this disaster or will be used to transport TDI dogs to temporary foster homes, if necessary.  We have a special committee of volunteer members to administer the Katrina funds and take charge of possible fostering and transferring of Therapy Dogs.
